Our STEAM Programs Approach

We deliver internationally accredited STEAM programs that learners need and families expect.

ELATE’s programs focus on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, providing intelligent growth from high-quality, interactive learning courses that are intended to educate, using concepts and ideas based on STEAM.

Our team of highly qualified professional educators, supervisors, and support and administrative staff use science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics to teach students how to interact, analyze, inquire, and problem solve.

All ELATE institutes start by identifying effective learning approaches for students of all ages, supporting their parents in determining the proper STEAM classroom setting that maximizes educational exploration and development. From there, we build on our students’ natural drive to interact, investigate the world at-large, and take new chances, requiring them to gather and use evidence-based conclusions to solve problems.

Progressive Learning

Progressive learning is built into all ELATE’s STEAM Programs.

Instead of applying a traditional education methodology that only teaches students to learn facts by routine memorization, our progressive learning approach emphasizes teaching students how to think critically and creatively, so they can understand what is being taught and apply it in a real-world situation.

STEAM Programs Design Thinking Challenge (SDC)

ELATE’s innovative STEAM Design Thinking Challenge (SDC) is a style of active and inquiry-based learning that teaches students to inquire and react to a complex question, difficult task, or problem in a dynamic classroom setting in order to find effective, realistic solutions to scenarios.

Our SDC courses contrast with modern, teacher-led instruction that presents students with established facts that are then memorized by constant repetition. 

In our SDC course, we shift the focus of teaching from the teacher to the student. We center all our SDC courses on active exploration of real-world challenges and problems, so students can obtain knowledge and skills, while they work for an extended period, by first investigating and then responding to solve a task at hand.

Customized Learning Courses (CLC)

ELATE’s customized learning courses (CLC) and STEAM Programs, take into account that each individual child is unique. We ensure that each student is provided a customized course that is appropriate to their learning needs.

Our CLC education team works closely with parents and students to create the best customized course for students, so they are learning topics that are relevant to them and applicable to their future development and educational journey.

Future Skills

ELATE’s Future Skills programs provide intelligent growth with interactive coaching, design thinking challenges, customized learning courses, and vital future skills, which aims to encourage them to be lifelong proactive self-learners and practical achievers of all challenges.

Educational Robotics

Robotics encompasses a big part of what is STEAM education.

Students develop critical thinking, problem solving, and collaborative learning skills alongside the application of theory from science, mathematics and design.

At Elate we supply our learners with leading edge brands of educational robotics.

Elates program focuses on “VEX GO” a worldwide acclaimed robotics learning system.

A Robotic construction system that teaches the fundamentals of STEM through fun, hands-on activities that help young students perceive coding and engineering in a fun and positive way!

ELATE’s online STEAM Programs and courses are provided by Acellus Academy, a WASC- ccredited US based provider. We also employ accredited academic programs from other educational providers in the US and the UK. 

Our highly effective, online courses tailor lessons and instruction to a student’s learning needs, enabling them to proficiently navigate and succeed in their studies, so they are prepared for the rigors of high school and university admissions, as well as future careers

Growth & Accountability

ELATE helps guide all its students on their learning path to success by providing weekly meetings as part of its Growth and Accountability Program (GAP). Our education team follows-up GAP meetings by monitoring student progress and offering corrective action for improvement. GAP is how ELATE helps students build important life skills.

For students to build a solid foundation for being strong, independent, life-long learners, they need face-to-face time, meeting and working with our staff. This ensures that we are helping them set realistic, achievable goals. GAP also ensures that all our students are afforded the opportunity to develop their social-emotional skills.
